Job Summary

Quantum Surgical is looking for a qualified MSc student in Informatics/Computer Vision to work as an intern with the Engineering Team on exciting projects.

Our ambition is to develop a new generation of robotic & software platform to help physicians delivering advanced treatment to cure a broad spectrum of medical conditions. At the frontier of medical imaging & robotics, our field reveals tremendously exciting and demands innovation.

Key Responsibilities

This internship aims at assessing the feasibility of organ segmentation from CT images by using convolutional neural networks. Image segmentation is a key step in our system for robotic assistance of percutaneous ablation procedures.

Experiences and Qualifications

  • MSc student in Informatics/Computer Vision
  • Image processing skills
  • Good programming skills in Python
  • Knowledge of deep learning librairies such as Tensorflow, Keras, Theano and CNTK
  • Knowledge of pre-trained models for image classification such as VGG19, ResNET50 and Inception
  • Team working spirit
  • Good communication skills
  • Self-motivated, self-disciplined and ability to work independently
  • Keen on innovation and solving complex issues
  • Good level in oral and written English

Desired Experience

  • A first experience in medical imaging
