Marketing Business Analyst

Job Summary

Quantum Surgical is looking for a Marketing Business Analyst to join a team of creative and energetic people who are building the next generation of smart tools for minimally invasive therapies in Oncology.

The Marketing Business Analyst is directly responsible for understanding the current market performance, identifying business opportunities and trends in accordance with the strategic objectives.

The candidate should have demonstrated relevant experience within the medical device industry.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct researches on Company targeted markets and implement market segmentation
  • Collect and analyse epidemiologic data in targeted markets
  • Collect and analyse competitive intelligence data / Anticipate, monitor and track competitive initiatives (products, pricing, distribution channels and product positioning)
  • Collect quantitative and qualitative data about environment, markets and competitors
  • Build statistical forecasts and predictive models that examine areas including: market share, surgical procedure trends, cancer treatments methods, etc.
  • Implement innovative business analytics tools, techniques, and processes
  • Provide in-depth expertise in areas such as observational research, epidemiology and data management

Experiences and Qualifications

  • MS in Engineering, Business, or equivalent
  • 5+ years of experience in a similar position within the medical device industry (healthcare, Pharma, Oncology, etc).
  • Excellent reporting and analytical skills
  • Substantial knowledge of statistics, medico-economics (analysis, epidemiology)
  • Advanced Excel or similar software knowledge (pivot tables, v-lookup, macros, statistical functions) and proficiency in complex analytical tools
  • Ability to communicate and build relationships with internal/external stakeholders
  • Interpersonal skills
  • Full English proficiency for reading, writing and speaking
